King CoknI opens the event at 9 p.m. and spins between performances by featured band Melody Memory, Exhibit Dance Collective's Fela-inspired dance project and Iv Amenti's performance poetry.
An open mic segment hosted by Black Page will be available to the first 10 people that sign up. See images of Black life projected on the big screen in the theater featuring the photography Saddi Khali plus hsort films by world traveler LaDonna Castro.
